Description .A Maori Patu or Hand Axe made from an animal jawbone that has been decorated with Maori symbols and features a Maori defying several 1850 period British Redcoat Soldiers (red fading). The jawbone is quite old with several teeth loose and was bought from a New Zealand Expat whose family had owned it since the early 20th century.
