DR21 Rare Woven Body Armour Cuirass

Description: Late 19th early 20th century Woven Cuirass or Body Armour from the Western Provinces and probably from the ‘Dani’ people. This type of armour would allow a warrior to hold & fire his bow at foes knowing his body was protected. Body armor such as this was later largely replaced by hand-held shields . Condition is very good. Rarely seen outside museums.
