Description        . An incised Ceremonial Ape Skull from the Dayak region of Borneo. This old and beautifully carved skull was most likely used as an amulet by a ‘Shaman’ (sorcerer) and worn around the neck to ward off evil spirits. They were also thought to give the ‘Shaman’  supernatural powers. Sold with specially made display stand if required.
