Description .Very good Markham Valley, Morobe Province, cassowary bone banana scraper with classic wedge-shaped ancestral face depicting an ancestor in stylized form. These spoons were used to scrape the skin from the baked plantain, a sort of non-sweet banana. Circa 1950.
