Description .Well used Lower Sepik stone axe collected in 1958. It has a slate stone head, slightly damaged from useage, which would have been traded down from the Highlands peoples to tribes along the Sepik River and coastal areas. Handle length is 16″ and the top is 18″ from tip to tip.
